After any fire or accident: All CNG cylinders must be inspected after any fire or accident, regardless of the vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).
Vehicles under 10,000 lbs GVWR: CNG cylinders must be inspected at least every 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Vehicles 10,000 lbs GVWR or greater: CNG cylinders must be inspected at least every 12 months.
